Okay, so I'm getting a new DA. This pen name of mine is kind of irritating since I don't use it anymore, so the new one will be more... me? More professional? I dunno. But Claudia Sparrow is no longer one of my alias', so there is no point in keeping it. I'll repost my work on my other name and eventually delete this one once everything is transfered. I'll post the new name shortly.

So this Friday I'm seeing Eddie Izzard, the crazy british transvestite comedian. Yay! I really hope our seats will be decent, but the Chicago Theatre is great, so I'm sure it will be fine even if we are in the balcony. I think George and I are going to go to dinner before hand, but I'm not sure where. Probably in Orland, just because it's easier. Ooooh, maybe we can go out to a really nice restuarant and make it a 'date night' thingy. I'm such a dork.

On the less exciting side of my weekend, I am unfortunately not going to be able to go to ACEN as I had hoped. Mostly lack of funds and time and my parents being evil, yadda yadda yadda. ::Sigh:: Oh well, it isn't a huge blow since there wasn't anyone in particular I was excited to see from the Anime industries, but I was hoping to see some people from anime club, like Jen, Ai, and Joey, but Meg will take lots of pictures, so it'll be fine. I will miss seeing Meg though. I hope she won't be upset. Le sigh.

As an alternative to ACEN though, George is also taking me to see Prince Caspian (H'OH MY GOD!) and we've been invited to Bob's bonfire, so this weekend will be plenty fun anyway, even without all the crazy hot anime people. I'll just have to make due with crazy hot friends and actors.

So, I need to find a summer job but I don't even know where to start. I applied to a few book stores and I'm applying to Home Depot, Menards, Edible Arrangements, and Star Bucks, but I haven't heard a peep from any of them. ::Sigh:: Oh well, I guess I can just sit out in ratty clothes and be a hobo for the summer, but somehow I don't think that will go over well. I also have to see what classes at Marine I want to take. Probably just art classes to keep me sharp. Well just have to see.

Last days

Last weeks of school are creeping up and fast. I only have 2 weeks left and I'm SWAMPED with work. I have to have to have 6 assignments done by next the 24th. I have a self portrait and a master's piece (basically a recreation of another artist's work) due for Life Drawing. In Fundamentals, I have to finish a CD cover (almost done), a 3pt. perspective drawing, and a final piece of whatever we want (I already have a start on it), and then to top it off a 10 pg. paper on color and mood for my science class. At least I'm done with English, except for the final test (not that bad, I hope) and I'm done with all my speeches. I really have to get my ass in gear and finish it all before I end up killing myself from work or stress. I am such a procrastinator.

On the brighter side, I'm looking forward to May. Meg's birthday is the 1st, I might be going to senior prom (again!), my parents are going on vacation for 2 weeks, and I'm likely going to ACEN (if only for the day). It will be nice to kick back and relax for a little while until I find myself a summer job or something. It'll also be nice to see everyone when they come home from school. I really miss them all. I'm thinking about volunteering at PAWS by my house or taking some ceramics classes at Moraine. We'll see, but I'm not worrying about that right now.

Right now, the best thing for me to do is smack myself a little and get to work so I can not get yelled at for failing a class my first semester of college.
